American Academy of Dermatology

Advisory Board Items

Representatives to the Advisory Board of the American Academy of Dermatology are representatives between individual societies and the Academy.  Amy Derick, MD, represents the Illinois Dermatological Society.  Currently, there are about 60 state, regional and local dermatological societies represented on th eBoard.  Through the resolution process, representatives contribute to the formulation of Academy policy positions, identify trends affecting dermatology, and help develop and support advocacy efforts.
